Development & Production
Our services begin during the product development phase before the actual production of the cable retraction and connector systems. To cater to our customers’ specific requirements, we offer bespoke solutions rather than standard designs. Therefore, our starting point is always to ask what our products will have to achieve and how we can support you in finding the most efficient solution.
Together with our customers, we develop a technical implementation plan, which includes comprehensive documentation, CAD-based construction drawings and, if desired, sampling and prototyping. For us, this means teamwork in an equal partnership and a consistent focus on both user and application requirements.
Installation & Final Check
A competent team of experienced service engineers then ensures that our products are professionally installed and commissioned at the customer's site,
whereby our highest priority is to ensure the smooth operation of your facility. Following a detailed visual and functional inspection and the preparation of the relevant documentation, our final check (performed as part of the installation of any SUMCAB cabling system) provides you with confirmation that the system is working correctly within the robot production line. The successfully concluded inspection forms the reference point for the validity of the contractually agreed warranty.
Maintenance Management
Industrial robot failures are inefficient and expensive. SUMCAB’s preventive maintenance service facilitates planning, is usually more cost effective than paying for repairs as and when faults occur and increases process reliability. Our service includes a thorough analysis of the site conditions in which your system is operating and the preparation of a customised integrated maintenance schedule based on our findings.
